Biography

A theatre actor for many years, Douglas is now leaving his mark in television; creating such fan favorites as "Louis Keating" on CBS' Pure Genius, "The Bird Man" on ABC's Grey's Anatomy and "Edison Po" on ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. As a writer, he was the first recipient of the Humanitas Prizes' "New Voices", which put him under the tutelage of Shonda Rhimes.

Used to support himself by busking for Broadway and Londons West End theatregoers with his physical comedy routines.

Once roomed with actor Michael Emerson.

Studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and Florida School of the Arts.

Played "Trammell, Sam" father on HBOs True Blood, but is actually only two years older than Sam. They also appeared together on Showtimes Going to California, playing friends.

To date, Cullen is the only actor to have guest starred as two different characters on Greys Anatomy.
