She is a graduate of the School of Theatre at Illinois State University.
She was awarded the 2003 Joseph Jefferson Award Citation for Actress in a Supporting Role in a Play for "Hot L Baltimore", at the Mary-Arcchie Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois.
