Dutch singer, and former radio & TV presenter Born December 3, 1932 in Breda, Netherlands. Died May 31, 2016, in Laren, Netherlands. Represented The Netherlands at the Eurovision Songfestival in 1956, 1957 (Winner) and 1958.
After quitting showbiz in 1974 she studied law and became a registered lawyer. In 1990 Ms. Brokken was appointed as a judge at the district court of s-Hertogenbosch. In 1995 she decided to have a showbiz comeback.
