Collin Lee Ellis is a Los Angeles based actor performing on-camera and on-stage. He is a graduate of the LA Upright Citizens Brigade school and the University of California at Davis. He has also trained in LA with Ivana Chubbuck, Gunnar Todd Rohrbacher and several greats at The Second City. Collin grew up in various parts of Washington State and now lives in West Hollywood with his creative partner and life companion 'Silvia Alejandra Moreno' . Collin's other passions include writing, guitar/singing and teaching science.
Collins uncle and grandfather on his mothers side, Mark and Sam, were working musicians who inspired him to take up music as a teenager before their passing in 2000 and 2010 respectively. His grandfather (Poppa Sam), a marine war veteran, bought him his first electric and acoustic guitar; after the war he toured with Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings and was the lead singer, songwriter and stand-up bass player for acts such as Sons of the Golden West and Sammy & The Cut Ups. He was known for his in-between song and set comedic style of entertaining the crowd. His vocal tone, western rockabilly wardrobe and stage demeanor still influences Collin today.
