Claudia Cooney is based in Los Angeles and is a 'teen triple threat'. She is extensively trained in ballet, tap, modern, street and hip hop dance. Claudia has been vocally trained in London and Los Angeles and has recently written and recorded two of her own original songs which have been produced by Matt Squire . She has recently written a song for the movie Occupied Territory in which she also stars in. Claudia was chosen from over 5000 girls for a role in the West End Musical, Billy Elliot for over a year. She also performed as a soloist in a concert at the Wembley O2 Arena. Claudia competed in Paris in the World Cup for Performing Arts in Song and Dance in which 19 countries entered. She won both categories gaining 2 gold medals and the prestigious Most Promising Performer Award. She enjoys playing the drums and guitar and is looking forward to many more exciting opportunities in the future.
