A graduate of Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art, Claire van der Boom is a Logie Award-winning actress who made her film debut in 2008, opposite Joel Edgerton in "The Square." She has since appeared in numerous acclaimed productions on stage and screen, including turns in HBO's "The Pacific" and Showtime's "Masters of Sex."
Graduated from NIDA in 2005.
Born in Broome, Western Australia.
Attended Presbyterian Ladies College in Western Australia.
Started performing as a dancer on the stage when she was three.
Claire made her Off-Broadway debut in 2012 as Karen in the new David Rabe play An Early History of Fire for the New Group.
Is also a singer. She is the voice of Dj Tiestos 2005 hit Do What You Want.
Claire stepped in to take over a lead role in Sam Shepards new play Heartless for the Signature Theatre. Directed by Daniel Aukin, she worked alongside veterans Lois Smith and Gary Cole.
