Turned down the role of Zed in Pulp Fiction

Discussed in three actresses autobiographies: "Serves Me Right" by Sarah Miles ; "Shelley II: The Middle of My Century" by Shelley Winters ; and "Bittersweet" by Susan Strasberg.

A relationship with Cathy Abernathy (1974-1980) produced a son, Christopher Jones, Jr., in 1975. He later fathered four children via a ten-year relationship with Paula McKenna (1984-1994).

Visited James Dean s family in Indiana, while traveling to New York, and ended up staying with them a few days; theyd hit it off well.

Made his Broadway debut on December 28, 1961 in the premiere of Tennessee Williams The Night of the Iguana playing the Mexican beach-boy Pancho. The other beach-boy Pedro was played by James Farentino : Both became good friends with Shelley Winters , who played a key role in introducing Jones to his future wife, Susan Strasberg. They married in 1965, after living together, when Strasberg became pregnant.

Served six months in a military stockade on Governors Island in New York, NY for going AWOL from the Army. After being discharged, he remained in New York City and fell in with the arts crowd, which lead to a love of painting and his career in acting.

Emotionally devastated by the August 9th, 1969 murder of his friend Sharon Tate , he suffered what he described as a "nervous breakdown" and abandoned his acting career.

Met former girlfriend Willa Ford on the set of Willas music video "Did You Understand That" in which he played her love interest.

With the cast of "Life in 5", shares the honors of "Best Cast", "CFF Best Family Award", and "Best Student Film" and was voted Fan Favorites: "Best Movie" and "Best Student Film" by the festival attendees at the August, 2017 Christian Film Festival in Newport News, Virginia.
