Chris Hunt was born in Ohio and raised in Idaho. He grew up as a latch key kid, entertaining himself with drawing comics and watching Kurosawa movies. While visiting Ohio, he happened upon comics by a local creator and decided to become a comic book artist at the age of 9. Almost 20 years later, Hunt is now in New York, working with the very man who's books so inspired him and pursuing his passion of storytelling through the comics medium. Hunt has also had a passion for acting since the age of 12. After developing a taste for it in an elective class in Junior High, he quickly outpaced his age group and soon found himself acting amongst his teachers in Boise's first repertory theatre group at the age of 16. Hunt has been an active member of the Boise acting community, shooting commercial work, and recording numerous voice overs for use in the Northwest market. In 2013, Hunt set out to make a proof of concept piece to help launch his first creator owned intellectual property entitled Carver: A Paris Story, a trans-media narrative experience that uses serial web driven content in tandem with a graphic novel. Hunt resides in New York City.
