Motown recording artist in the mid-1960s. Biggest hit was the Holland-Dozier-Holland penned and produced "Loves Gone Bad" in 1966 (charted #41 R&B & #105 pop). Later became a Motown vice president.

Chris Clarks recording of the song "I Want to Go Back There Again" from the 1967 Motown album "Soul Sounds" can be heard in the Belgian feature film "Mesrine: Killer Instinct" in the love scene about an hour into the film.

In 1973, the Oscar ceremony was held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion of the Music Center in Los Angeles. It was actor Jack Lemmon who announced Clarks name as a nominee for "best original screenplay" as co-writer for "Lady Sings the Blues".

November, 2016 - The music video for "The Ghosts of San Francisco," sung by Chris Clark, won the "Mixed Genre Jazz Film Award" at the "New York Jazz Film Festival." Clark attended the festival and accepted the award, which she shared with director and lyricist, R. Christian Anderson.

Drafted 3rd round (77th overall) by the Calgary Flames in 1994.

The Leonard Nimoy tribute art collage shown burning at the 2015 Burning Man festival temple burn in the documentary "For the Love of Spock" was designed and created by set dresser Chris Clark over a 2 day period at his lunch hour on stage 5 at the prospect lot while working on Greys Anatomy in Los Angeles CA. As i life long Star Trek fan and 15 year veteran of the Burning Man festival Mr Clark had no idea that anyone other then the 2015 Burning Man attendees would see the art piece tribute to Mr Nimoy , Mr Clark was shocked but very honored to see that the art collage appeared in a documentary about Leonard Nimoys life. In the 15 years that Chris Clark has been going to Burning Man he has created multiple art tributes for the festivals temple burns mostly for family and friends who have passed , but also for celebrated individuals that have impacted MR Clarks life threw art and or adventure in some way, he has created art pieces for people like Hunter S. Thompson , George Harrison , Heath Ledger , Eli Wallach , Kenny Baker , Bettie Page , Charlton Heston , Neil Armstrong , James Doohan , David Carradine , Christopher Lee & David Bowie just to name a few. The Lenard Nimoy art collage is the first and only collage to date that Mr Clark has made for the Burning Man temple burn, he was quoted as saying " each art piece is different as each person was different , when Leonard Nimoy passed away i felt the need to be creative , and that was how the collage came about ". Mr Clark met Mr Nimoy for the first time i 1988 when he was 14 years old , and met Mr Nimoy for the last time in 2005.
