British drummer, born 2 June 1941 in Kingsbury, London, England, UK, best known as member of The Rolling Stones but over the years he has been involved in more jazz- and R&B-styled solo and side projects. Watts got his first drum kit in 1955. In 1961 he met Alexis Korner and became member of Blues Incorporated. In 1963 he joined The Rolling Stones. Watts plays Gretsch drums
