Biography

Cassius Corrigan is a writer and director based in Los Angeles and Miami, focused on the development of original feature film, television, and digital properties. A graduate of the School of Cinematic Arts at USC, Cassius completed with honors the Directing Intensive program instructed by Oscar-nominated director Michael Toshiyuki Uno. A passionate storyteller, Cassius believes in the power of cinema to engage, enlighten and inspire; in the uniquely cinematic quality that transcends color, language and religion. A Colombian-American, Cassius is driven to create stories featuring inspirational Latino themes and characters, and to explore the transformative impact of millennial culture. In 2013, he co-founded Vibrancy Studios, the creative studio of the digital generation, and in 2014 he helped found Your Voice, the groundbreaking non-profit launched by the Whisper App that raises mental health awareness for college students. Cassius is fundraising for his directorial debut Cartel, the first millennial gangster film and a modern interpretation of The Godfather. Cassius, with his script for Cartel, was a finalist for the Sundance Screenwriter's Lab.
