Carl co-edited Video Confidential, a long-running subscription only movie newsletter in the mid-1990s. The journal reviewed genre and cult films released on VHS, Laserdisc, DVD and Blu-Ray from around the world and included exclusive interviews with actors and fimmakers. It was recently revived as a blog with all new material and an archive of back issues at: videoconfidential.blogspot.com
