Biography

Calhoun Koenig is a Detroit actress who was adopted from Shaanxi, China as a 1 year old. She is passionate about telling great stories, loves dystopian literature and playing dark, complex characters. She is a singer, dancer, scuba diver, writer, avid reader, and plays multiple instruments. Her own first short film she wrote and produced at 13 has won numerous awards at film festivals. Her father is an automotive executive and mother is a screenwriter/producer/ costume designer/SFX make-up artist. Calhoun did her first indie film at age 4 and had her major motion picture debut as a small feature in "Oz The Great and Powerful" in a scene with Michele Williams. She also loves the stage and began acting in regional musicals.
