Trivia

The actor Carl W. Fernbach studied acting at the Academy for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and Salzburg.

He made his stage debut as an actor in 1935 at the Theater Scala in Vienna, later followed engagements at other theaters like the Wiener Brgertheater.

His career came to a halt during World War II and he served in the military service.

His brother was the well-known musician Johannes Fehring.

Only one year after his first stage appearance he took part in his first movie "Manja Valewska" (36) with Maria Andergast and Olga Tschechowa. But afterwards followed a long interruption in the film business and he acted for the theater exclusively.
