Was the producer of the first gay pornographic films that Sean Paul Lockhart --aka Brent Corrigan--appeared in while underage. After it was revealed that Lockhart was underage, he and Phillips became embroiled in a legal dispute over whether Lockhart could legally make pornographic films for other producers, and whether or not he could use his screen name. On January 24, 2007, Phillips was found stabbed to death in Dallas Township, Pennsylvania. Two other pornographic-film producers, Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes, are accused of murdering Phillips in order to release Lockhart from his contract.
