Brian Michael Dorton is an American filmmaker/actor, best known for Trashology . He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 12, 1975. Dorton's repertoire to date spans several different film genres, though one will find repeat appearances from the cast and crew members he has helped develop over the course of his young career. The most prevalent of these defined working relationships is one with editor and co-collaborator, actor Douglas Conner. Outside of their professional endeavors, Conner and Dorton have maintained a close friendship for many, many years. Brian says he would someday like to branch out into other genres like drama and even direct an animated film.

Has been stalked 3 times. Dorton recalled that in 1997 a letter constructed of cut out letters from magazines appeared on his vehicle, the individual was never known. Was stalked again in 2007 by a man that threatened to kill himself if intimate feelings werent reciprocated. Dorton was later stalked in 2012 by a different man for reasons unknown.
