Biography

Brett grew up in Laguna Beach, California. His interest in the arts was sparked at a young age after seeing the film version of West Side Story. He began his training at the age of 9 at Sparks Theatre and continued at the Laguna Playhouse, graduating with honors and receiving a full scholarship to their highly respected Conservatory and Repertory programs. He went on to work in several productions there, including his first Actors Equity show. He then relocated to Santa Barbara where he had a chance to continue his training, performing in both regional musical theater and film. After a short trip back to Orange County for an extended production, he relocated to Los Angeles in 2001. He has continued to work consistently, racking up 11 major theatrical productions over the last 4 years. He recently performed as Paul in the West Coast Premiere of The Good Negro at the Stella Adler Theatre and as C.C. Showers in The Diviners at Theatre Palisades. He is the co-host and producer of LA Land w/ Brett and Nett a nationally syndicated entertainment talk show, on the Cable Radio Network, which Broadcasts weekly into 11 million homes, nationwide.
