Biography

Born in Baltimore, Maryland he was raised by two parents and has one sister. He attended Loyola Blakefield, a Catholic, college preparatory school. Larkins would then attend U. of Maryland Eastern Shore on an athletic scholarship where he studied Rehabilitation Counseling as a major. Post graduating college, Larkins entered the field of entertainment as a songwriter & producer of music. He would later enter the world of television / film appearing on HBO's The Wire & Touchstone's Annapolis. Larkins has also appeared in independent features, shorts, and theatrical plays as well. Larkins currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

Enjoys watching Entourage, Sanford & Son, Good Times, The Young & The Restless, A Different World, The Flintstones, Golden Girls, Living Single, and Hanna Barbera cartoons.

Invited and Joined The Screen Actors Guild in 2004. Also a member of ASCAP as a songwriter.

As a first grader, would perform in front of his class dancing during "Show & Tell" time.

As a 1st grader, would perform in front of his class dancing during "Show & Tell" time. Acting debut as a 2nd grader in the play "Really Rosie." He played The Blackbird.

Played varsity on football, swimming, and track teams. Eventually leading to an athletic scholarship to college.

Member of both SAG & AFTRA unions. Also, a member of ASCAP as a songwriter / producer.

Inspirational influences include Darrin DeWitt Henson, Idris Elba, Morris Chestnut, Donnie Wahlberg, James Franco, Mark Wahlberg, Will Smith, Peter Bergman, Jim Pickens Jr., Jeremy Piven, Blair Underwood, and J. Todd Smith (LL..).

Good friends with singer Kenny Lattimore.
