A semi-has-been star of stage and screen is hired to headline an amateur production of Kiss Me Kate in Loma Bella, California. The rest of the cast is made up of the denizens of a wealthy retirement community.
I have been a big fan of actor Bradford Dillman and when I read that he became an author I was interested. Also having done many community theater shows and also stage managed many professional off-off-off broadway productions , I was interested in a novel about a community theater production of "Kiss Me Kate", I was looking forward to a nice behind the scenes story of that production.
