Played Thomas Jeffersons wife, "Martha Jefferson", in the film version of the musical, 1776 . Her daughter, Gwyneth Paltrow , later portrayed the daughter of Thomas & Martha Jefferson in the film, Jefferson in Paris . In Ken Burns miniseries, "Thomas Jefferson" , Blythe again played "Martha Jefferson" and her daughter, Gwyneth Paltrow , played Jeffersons granddaughter.
