A successful songwriter, television writer, voice actor, and occasional on-camera performer.

A longtime friend of Monkee Michael Nesmith. The Monkees recorded two of his songs, "All Of Your Toys" and "The Door Into Summer", and Martin appeared in Nesmiths later video and TV productions.

Bill teamed up with Russ Giguere from the group "The Association" as a comedy/musical duo called "Martin and Giguere" in the 70s and played at venues such as the Ice House in Pasadena. A new release of this inventive and hilarious team is forthcoming.

Bill also wrote "Heartsong" on the self-titled Randy Meisner lp, "Randy Meisner".

Brother of fellow entertainer George Martin.
