Biography

Born Alberto Ruiz Bojorquez in Tijuana, Mexico, the son of a doctor and a school teacher. Beto's passion for acting started early in high school, acting and directing several plays, to be awarded Best Actor by the school theatre group. He was selected among other students by Old Globe San Diego's director Peter Webster, to perform in a special Romeo & Juliet presentation, which helped fuel his ambition for the craft. Shortly after, Beto continued to perform in theater productions and film, while simultaneously attending school. Even while being aware of what his true passion was, he enrolled in Medical School. He spent his next 4 years preparing to be a doctor, until he finally decided to drop out, in order to fully focus on his acting career. He moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to study an Acting for Film Conservatory at the New York Film Academy. Soon after graduation, he starred in films like "Sheikh Chilli and His Three Wives -a Spanish show to be released soon- and is about to start filming a series of Live/Interactive comedy sketches -a new entertainment concept produced by the New Media revolutionary, Super Deluxe.
