Left "Ironside" after marrying Don Burnett.

Second wife of Don Burnett.

Her acting mentor was the late Raymond Burr.

She was a well-known beauty queen in Memphis and across Tennessee before moving to Los Angeles, California. She held a variety of important titles.

She won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Drama Series as Officer Eve Whitfield on the crime series "Ironside" .

Best known for her roles as Officer Eve Whitfield on the crime series "Ironside" and as Lenore Karidian in the first season episode of the original "Star Trek" series, "Star Trek" {The Conscience of the King (#1.13)} .

As of September 30, 2017 with the death of her replacement Elizabeth Baur , Anderson is the last surviving member of the cast of Ironside.

Worked as a production designer in tandem with husband Cletus Anderson. Together they worked frequently with horror filmmaker George Romero in the early 80s.

The couple also designed sets and costumes for local productions in Pittsburgh. They also taught drama at Carrnegie Mellon the the late 60s on and wrote the popular textbook "Costume Design".
