Finnish producer and music critic, born in 12.06.1943 in Helsinki to a bi-lingual family. In 1966 he founded [l=Love Records (4)] with [a=Otto Donner] and [a=Christian Schwindt]. The label went bankrupt in 1979, but Blom continued his career in [l=Johanna Kustannus Oy]. That label went bankrupt in 1984, and Blom continued releasing music through the brands [l=Megamania] and [l=Pyramid], and founded the company Megamania Ky. Eventually he and three others founded the new [l=Johanna Kustannus]. In 2002 [l=Love Kustannus Oy] became the majority shareholder of Johanna Kustannus. Blom left the company in 2005. Currently (2008) he works as a producer for [l=Uho Production].
Founder of Love Records and Johanna record companies, the latter was named after the second name of his daughter and Bob Dylan song "Visions of Johanna".
