Ashley Anderson was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. She moved to New York City after being accepted to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts to study acting. After graduation, Ashley was one of 22 selected to further her training one final year AADA's 2008 Company. Since then, she has completed various print work, commercials and films all around New York City.
Ashley is also a headshot photographer in New York City.
Her breakthrough movie role was when she had to kiss Zach Galligan (Gremlins) in Jonathan Blitsteins comedy, "Let Them Chirp Awhile".
Nicknamed "Emotional Sandy" on Grease: Youre the One That I Want.
Attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, NY. She met her husband, Ciaran McCarthy, while they were both students.
