British-American film editor
London-born editor in Hollywood, at Columbia (1933-36), RKO (1937-39) and Universal (1940-47). Worked on a couple of W.C Fields vehicles and was Oscar-nominated for Robert Siodmaks classic thriller The Killers . In the 1950s, he was also active as a television director.
