Antonio Vilar was born in Lisbon, Portugal on October 31st. 1912. His career began as a newspaperman but soon entered in movies as a makeup artist first, sound technician, production designer and director's assistant. His first role was in Portuguese film A Severa . Retired in 1981, he died in Madrid on August 16th. 1995.
