Angie Harmon

Attended and graduated from Highland Park High School in University Park, Texas.

March 13, 2000: While Harmon was on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" , her then-boyfriend, New York Giants football player Jason Sehorn , walked out onstage and proposed during the program. Harmon accepted, and her father then came out as well to give his blessing. The proposal had been arranged by Sehorn and the Tonight Show staff.

Was once pulled over by a police officer for a "rolling stop" violation. When asked to step out of the vehicle, she responded, "No". The officer asked why, and she told him that she had no pants on. He shined his flashlight in to see and responded, "Oh!". Her pants and blouse were in the trunk along with her drivers license, which the officer initially wanted to see. It turned out that before she got in the car, she had accidentally sat on some fire ants and had to strip to her bra and panties to get them off her. She told this while on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" in May 1999.

"Discovered" by David Hasselhoff on an airline flight.

When she was 15 years old and in the 10th grade, she won the national cover-girl contest for Seventeen magazine.

Her parents, Lawrence Paul Harmon and Daphne Demar Caravageli, were both models. They divorced when she was still a toddler.

Met her husband, New York Giants All-Pro defensive back Jason Sehorn , after she attended a Giants football game.

Angies father has English, as well as German, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, and remote Dutch, ancestry. Angies maternal grandparents were both of Greek descent.

Spoke at the Republican National Convention with her then-husband, Jason Sehorn , on August 30, 2004.

No relation to Mark Harmon. However, both have co-starred with Sasha Alexander on television series.

Attended the same high school as "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" cast member Stephanie March. Angie was a senior when Stephanie was a freshman.

Currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Has played both sides of the "Law & Order" dynamic. She played ADA Abbie Carmichael on "Law & Order" (1998-2001) and since 2010 has played Detective Jane Rizzoli on "Rizzoli & Isles" .

As Jane Rizzoli (Rizzoli & Isles), Angie Harmon reveals she is left-handed. For example, she carries her handgun on her left side, she shoots left-handed, and she wears her wristwatch on her right wrist.

Good friends with Garcelle Beauvais.

She played a detective on "Womens Murder Club" . Some of the plots were reused on "Rizzoli & Isles" .

Has three daughters with her ex-husband Jason Sehorn : Finley Faith Sehorn (born October 14, 2003 in Dallas, Texas), Avery Grace Sehorn (born June 21, 2005 in Dallas, Texas) and Emery Hope Sehorn (born December 18, 2008).

She is a registered Republican, and endorse both John McCain for the 2008 presidential election and Mitt Romney for the 2012 presidential election.
