Her youngest son Rhys William Cazenove was born in December 1976
Her eldest son Linford was killed instantly in 1999 in a road accident, while driving to pick up books from Cambridge University. He had just been awarded a masters degree in Philosophy from Cambridge.
She was awarded the CBE in the 2004 Queens Honours List for her services to drama.
A pub was named after her, in Pontypridd, South Wales. It was closed down and replaced by a greetings card shop in 2009.
Designed some of the jewellery worn by Cate Blanchett (Queen Elizabeth) and her ladies in waiting in Elizabeth: The Golden Age . Pieces from Reess Qing Dynasty Collection are seen throughout the film.
Studied at the Sorbonne for two terms. Also studied at the University of Madrid, as well as teaching English at a Madrid psychiatric clinic.
Started as assistant stage manager and actor with the West Cliff Theatre in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex.
