A Boston native, Andrew earned his BFA, Cum Laude, as a Writer/Director from the SUNY Purchase Film Conservatory. He continued studying film at the American Film Institute, earning his MFA in Directing in '09. His graduate thesis short "The Response" won First Place at the Student BAFTA/ LA Awards and was a Blue Panel Finalist for the Student Emmy awards. The film also garnered a West Coast Regional Finalist Nomination from the Student Academy Awards and was screened at the AFI Fest in 2010.
