Allen Merritt is an actor, writer, producer known for featured spots on Guilty or Innocent .
Allen graduated from Kickapoo High School in Springfield, MO, Class of 1981. He was involved in school plays and performed as a dancing sailer in the musical Carousel. Allen graduated one year prior to Brad Pitt.
Allens first television appearance was in the mid-to-late 60s (in kindergarten) on a popular local Saturday morning television show hosted by Joe Pinner on WIS-TV, Channel 10 in Columbia, South Carolina. The show was titled "The Mr. Knozit Show." The show ended in 2000.
Played the narrator in junior high school production of "If Boys Wore Skirts.".
First memory of a performance in a play was in elementary school. It was "Stone Soup.".
