Biography

Growing up on the Canadian Prairies in Calgary, Alberta, Alison Wandzura found her first creative outlet performing as a dancer and singing in choirs. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Calgary with degrees in Theatre and Business. After a brief stint of doing corporate work by day and theatre by night, Alison relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia, to further her career in film and television. Alison's television credits include playing opposite Steve Zahn in the highly-anticipated new series The Crossing . In addition to her film and television work, Alison has given award-winning performances on stage in Steel Magnolias, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and Messiah on the Frigidaire. She is a founding member of ARTery Collective, an independent theatre company based in Vancouver, BC.

Alisons stage debut was in the fourth grade, where she negotiated to downgrade an on-stage hug with her "husband", the Shoemaker, to a high-5.
