Alex Pires is a New York City based actor. He began performing while in high school and was part of 6 productions in the New Bedford High School Drama Club. After high school, Alex attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences as a Pre-Med and Physician Assistant major. Despite excelling in class and enjoying his social experiences, Alex knew that acting was his calling and left college after his first year. Since then Alex has taken part in twenty-plus stage productions, multiple short films, feature films, web series, and commercials. Top acting influences include Jim Carrey, Will Smith, Kevin Spacey, Bryan Cranston and Tony Shaloub. Alex attributes his strong moral values and intense work ethic to his mother, Debra, who raised him as a single parent.
