Biography

Born in Dallas Texas, in August of 1996, she is an only child. She grew up in a small town outside of Dallas, where from the age of three started performing. She took ballet and tap classes, as well as voice lessons. She performed in her first play at church where she landed a lead role in their Christmas performance of "A Tannenbaum Christmas." She first knew she wanted to be on the big screen when she was in 3rd grade. In 2005 She went to see "Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire". She remembered wanting to be in the next Harry Potter movie so badly, she started her own talk show that she recorded on her mothers laptop, on which she had guests such as her cousin, and dog. At the age of 9 she played 'Little Cosette' in the local theater's production of "Les Miserables." By 7th grade she took theatre, where she wrote her own monologues, and continued to dance the following year in 8th grade, on the McMillan Junior High Dazzler drill team. In high school, she sang all four years in top A Capella choir, and of course kept dancing, as a line member in the Pacesetter drill team of Wylie High School. Her senior year, she auditioned to be in show choir, her dream for the previous three years. She unfortunately didn't make it, due to too many sopranos in the choir. But she didn't let that stop her. She auditioned for the lead role of Tracy Turnblad in Wylie's production of "Hairspray." Which she landed due to her acting, dancing, and singing skills. The musical took the town by storm, becoming Wylie High School's highest grossing musical in the school's 99 years. in 2014, she went on to attend college at Collin College, Collin County's community college, known for their prestigious theatre program. There, she studied stage movement, musical theater, modern dance, ballet, and acting. She since has worked on the action film "AmeriGeddon," directed by Mike Norris, Chuck Norris' son. 2016- Currently working on "Color Me You" directed by Marco Bottiglieri. 2017- A big year for Alex, in March she worked on FOX's "The Gifted", in April, Mike Norris' "The Crossroads of Hunter Wilde", and in June/July, she worked alongside Jamie Chung and Corey Michael Smith in "1985" Yen Tan's feature full length film. In July, she tarted taking acting lessons from Nancy Chartier's Acting for Television and Film, where other actors such as Jennifer Stone and Jake McDorman also studied. In September Alex worked on "The Price of Fame" for the Prince episode. Alex also is a huge Prince fan. In October she landed a featured role a short film series playing "Samantha Henley" in Gabe Villarreal's "Frenetic."
