Alex Davis

Alex Davis is a composer, orchestrator, arranger and sound artist who creates for film, television, and dance productions from around the world. His work has been featured in concert at New York University, Lincoln Center, NC School of the Arts, Florida State University, and on numerous television productions, including the Sundance Channel, History Channel, and ESPN. In 2006 he was awarded an Emmy for his work on Soojin Hwang's short film "Tycho's Nova", and he completed a full soundtrack for the Sci-Fi feature film "Sol" in late 2010. He works as the music director for the Obsidian Collective, a production company based in Asheville, NC.
