Biography

Raised in the suburbs of Sacramento, Alex has always had a strong passion for the arts. Throughout high school, he was very interested in theater and acting, but he knew deep down that he wanted to make movies. So Alex went on to attend Humboldt State University and finally began working with other talented, young filmmakers. He graduated HSU with a Theater Arts degree with a film emphasis in 2008. After Humboldt, Alex then moved down south to Orange County when he was accepted into the Master's program at Chapman University for Film and Television Producing. Alex greatly enhanced his film producing skills as he learned to manage budgets, scout and find locations, deal with permits and unions, and creating working production schedules. He produced a variety of short films there spanning from horror films to off-beat comedies to westerns. In fact, his thesis film "Sixgun", a gritty western tale of revenge, had a 30,000 dollar budget and was completely shot on location at an actual western movie ranch. Since graduating from Chapman, Alex has worked on a variety of film jobs including being an assistant director for a small feature film "Flea", which was shot in Humboldt County in the summer of 2010. Alex continues looking to help and produce future film projects with the goal of eventually producing major feature films and television shows.
