Biography

Adrian Hough's extraordinary talent was first spotted at the young age of 11 when he was selected to go into a Saturday morning program for gifted children. It was there that he was introduced to a course called Mime and Creative Drama and he was hooked. Inspired by British performers, Adrian decided to be a classical actor and set off to the UK where he spent 9 years training and working. The experience he gathered was immeasurable; highlights include playing the Scottish brother to Peter Capaldi Assignment' falls into the bad-guy category. He'll tell you that he has developed a fondness for playing men of dubious character and motives, and that he likes to always find a heart within the monster. In life however, the man himself couldn't be kinder. Adrian's ocean-side island home keeps him and his three children close to the water and old growth forests which he works passionately to protect.

Adrian feels passionately about protecting old growth forests and water which is, as he points out, what keeps our species alive.

Having spent much of his childhood summers and some winters out in the wilds of Ontario where his family had a cabin off-grid, Adrian has a deep sense of the importance of nature and protecting wild places.

Adrian found his island home in 2001off the west-coast of Vancouver after becoming tired of the big city, and has been with the same agent ever since.

His island home is next to the ocean and yearlong ocean swimming keeps him sane (by insanely winter swimming) and fit.

Prior to his role on Travelers, Adrian worked with Eric McCormack on an episode of Top Cops 25 years ago.

Trained with David Rotenberg, alongside Amanda Tapping and Scott Speedman.

Adrian credits his accomplished mother, Bridget Hough, with being a model of feminism.

Quotes

I used to believe that everything happens for a reason. Then I realized, the higher law of st happens.

There is always a higher law than the one you currently subscribe to.

I have found over the years that the very best are also the most, generous and appreciative of what you bring, and have a way of raising, the game of others around them, making them shine. Walter Hill is one,of those. .
