A passionate writer, producer and director, Adam Young was born on May 7, 1986 in Manchester, England. At 7 years old, Young began making short movies with his parents' home camcorder, starting out with an interest in stop-motion animation and eventually progressing to live action. Whilst dreaming about becoming an author and illustrator some day, Young made the realization that writing and directing for film was his true calling, when he discovered scriptwriting at 18 years old. After graduating from university, Young began freelancing as a cameraman as well as writing, producing and directing his own no budget short films, whilst paying the bills waiting tables and bar-tending. His visual style, writing skills and his ability to work quickly and professionally under time and budget constraints garnered enough attention to land Young in a full-time job as a creative producer with a charity media production company called 'Fixers.' Young also occasionally writes and directs plays for theatre.
