Abigail James born under the sign of Gemini, in Georgetown the capitol city of Guyana is continuing the rich legacy of her Father and Mother (The Mighty Intruder of “Lallawatie” fame and Singing Lurlene). As a Junior she entered the National Junior Calypso Competition and was a force, winning the title once in 2009, placing 2nd in 2008 and two 4th places before advancing to the senior competition as a worthy competitor. She also entered the Carib Soca Monarch and placed 6th in 2014. Abigail also demonstrated her versatility by participating in the nation’s top dance competition, the GT&T's FEEL THE BEAT 2011 and placing in the top 10! She was invited to perform by the Guyanese Association of Barbados for their celebration of Guyana’s Independence 2013 which she did with flying colors! She is featured on the SSignal Productions lovers’ rock album HIGHER LEVEL that is being sold at over 400 digital retail stores in 100 countries including iTunes, Amazon.com and Spotify and is featured on the SSignal Productions Album of Guyanese National Songs. In 2016 the presentation for her calypso entry was the talk for many weeks to come and though it did not gain a place, GUYANA SMILING AGAIN was a big success loved by most Guyanese in the Guyana and the diaspora which was evident by the over 50,000 views on FB and over 40,000 views on youtube
