Biography

Danish vocalist, artist, b. 1940, the creative mastermind of the political rockgroup [a=Røde Mor], later a satirical schlager-entertainer in the husband/wife duo [a=Troels Trier & Rebecca Brüel]. Established an art collective in 1968, Røde Mor, that by 1969 divided into also being the politically leftish musical/theatrical group [a=Røde Mor] w. Trier as the lead-singer and creative focus. Alongside Røde Mor's rockmusical-releases he began releasing solo albums in the mid 70's w. a more discreet satirical tone, often backed by the Røde Mor musicians including his brother, classical guitarist [a=Lars Trier]. After Røde Mor ended in the late 70's, Trier continued his solo career as satirical entertainer, in the early 80's teaming up with his wife [a=Rebecca Brüel] as an ironic over-the-top schlager act.
