German actress and ballerina
She taught acting at Viennas prestigious Max Reinhardt Seminar for decades (mid 50s through the late 90s) to generations of actors. Students of hers include such famous names like Senta Berger , Erika Pluhar , Ute Lemper , Klaus Bachler , Elisabeth Orth , Monica Bleibtreu , Kitty Speiser Klaus Wildbolz , Heidelinde Weis , Hans Neuenfels , Albert Fortell and many many others.
Ensemble member at the famous Vienna Burgtheater from 1940 to 1992.
Had a son and a daughter, living in the US.
Born to Consuella Nicoletti, an actress, and Ernst Habersack, boss of a shipping company, she lived with her parents in Amsterdam from 1921 to 1927.
Made her stage debut at the age of 13 at the Munich Kammerspiele and became solo dancer two years later.
