Biography

Saul Hernandez is the lead singer of Jaguares, one of Mexico's most important and representative rock bands in Latin America. His roots go back to the early 80s, when he started a band called Las Insolitas Imagenes de Aurora. Later on, they became Caifanes, changing forever the history of Rock in Mexico. The original lineup for Caifanes was Saul Hernandez - vocals and guitars, Sabo Romo - bass, Alfonso Andre - Drums and Diego Herrera - Keyboards. In the second album, el Diablito, Alejandro Marcovich joined the band as the lead guitarist. Caifanes released 4 great albums: Caifanes Vol.1, El Diablito, El Silencio and El Nervio del Volcan. They came to an end in the late 90s. Saul continued creating music and then Jaguares was born. As leader, vocals and guitars in Jaguares, Saul continues being an icon in Mexico's Rock History and remains as one of the most important bands in Latin America. He has released 4 albums: El Equilibrio de los Jaguares, Bajo el Azul de tu Misterio, Cuando la Sangre Galopa and El Primer Instinto.
