She won the 2005 Featured Actress in a Musical Tony for her role as The Lady of the Lake in Monty Pythons "Spamalot".

Attended Juilliard School of Drama.

When she was 8 she moved from Mexico to San Diego with her mother after her parents divorce.

Made her first video game voice acting debut as Lammy, the main protagonist of the PlayStation game "Um Jammer Lammy" from late 1998 to early 1999, and then in the summer of 1999 again due to U.S. censorship and religious and violent issues in Japans version of the game. She again made her recurring role as Lammy in the 2001-2002 PlayStation 2 game "PaRappa the Rapper 2".
