Biography

Also known as Phil 'Bud' Judd on some releases, guitarist and vocals for New Zealand band The Swingers. Judd was a founding member of Split Enz along with Tim Finn. In between Enz stints, he dropped out in 1977 and rejoined for another brief fling not long after, Judd experimented with NZ punk outfits Enemy and Suburban Reptiles. After The Swingers, Judd performed with various other ex-Enz players in Melbourne-based band Schnell Fenster. He moved on to concentrate on composing film soundtracks. He also releases solo albums.
