Nina Brosh was born to an Israeli Jewish family in Ramat Yishai. On her father's side, she is a great grand-daughter of Yehuda Leib Maimon, the leader of the religious Zionist movement. While her Jewish mother was born in China while her family was living in China. During the 1990s, she led campaigns for brands such as Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Dior, and Miu Miu, as well as being a successful high-fashion catwalk model.
In 1995, "The Face" magazine ranked her as the 79th "Most Powerful Person in Fashion" in their respected top 100 listing.
Her hourglass figure earned her the accolade "The Body of the Nineties" in fashion circles.
