Teamed wih Alain Johannes in 1987 to form the band Walk the Moon, which they renamed Eleven in 1991.

Briefly worked under the pseudonym "Natasha Detente, " which she chaims she chose to celebrate the then-fresh new camaraderie between Russia and America.

While on his solo tour between 2011-2016, Chris Cornell would often pay tribute to her and play the song "When Im Down", (from the album Euphoria Morning that Shneider produced) accompanied by a vinyl recording of the original piano track that Shneider performed for the song.

Had her first son Robin Kapustin (father is her first husband Serge Kapustin) in 1978, two months after arriving USA.

Married at young age with first husband and "Black Russian" band-mate Serge Kapustin in Russia. They migrated together to USA with Natashas brother Vladimir Shneider.

Natasha and Alain Johannes were never officially married, though they liked to tell people they were "common law" husband and wife.
