Revolutionary Dub Poet, born "Allan Hope" 26th December, 1952, Rae Town, Kingston, Jamaica. Raised as a Roman Catholic, he studied Electronics at Kingston Technical High School. Whilst working at the Jamaica Telephone Company he declared himself a Rastafarian, changed his diet, stopped combing his hair and grew dreadlocks. He released his first single Every Time A Ear De Soun in 1981. He continues to tour and perform today.
