Amy xyes there are big similarities between drum patterns Renis knocking out around this album time but if you listen there are live fills between that show his live instrumentation..when youre working a funk groove then the syncopation on the drums is such that its subtle shifts and twists that give live playing the bedrock for a guitarist as dexterous as Squire..if youre looking for Bonham solos fuck off back to Noddyland, Renis understanding of space is unparalleled pretty much like most of the idiocy displayed underneath.
