The Red Telephone

Verse 1:
Sitting on a hillside
Watching all the people die
I'll feel much better on the other side
I'll thumb a ride

Verse 2/3:
I believe in magic
Why, because it is so quick
I don't need power when I'm hypnotized

family guy free movie download
family guy free movie downloadone of the eeriest songs of the 60s, if not the eeriest… i wasnt around for the 60s, i was born in 1997, but this song really feels like it embodies the dark side of the 60s to me. it’s violence, overdose, death, altamont, the anxiety of living in a world on the edge of collapse… this whole album is about the struggle to remain optimistic and find reasons to affirm life in a world that is so dark and hostile, and i think by the end of it arthur lee managed to find that idealism, but this song truly feels like the culmination of so much fear, loneliness, and hopelessness that it’s genuinely challenging to listen to for me even if the overall effect is pretty subtle.

THE ORACLEFor being made in 1967 , this is without a doubt better than about 90% that emerged from that timeperiod. It is timeless, beautiful , good composed.
