Time Stands Still

Temptation (x2)

Time stands still
The whisper in my ear
The spirit within
A struggle destined to fail

Infested thoughts
Spirit contracts
Lust dominates
Fallen once again

Frustration accumulates
Anger towards the fraud of the world
Anger towards the lack of self control
Condemnation, immediate repentance

How much can You take?
The disappointment of my deceit
Pain
Disobediance to Your will

Of my weaknesses I'm desperately aware
Do I even dare
To repent again?
Why (would you) endure the pain?

Prisoner of filthy chains
Unclean, unclean

Help me God
Set me free

@donkalina1543
@donkalina1543This album came out in the very beginning(2002) of the last great metal movement, when metal was dominating in the scene (2001-2006). I am so amazed thst barely anyone has heard it! Even the band isnt well known but this album in general was, in my opinion, there greatest work!! It came out before Killswitch,s end of heartache, L.o.G,s as the palaces burn, Unearths the oncoming storm, God Forbids determination, shadows falls the war within and yet ive only meet 3 people who have heard of this band and none of them had heard this album by them until i text them the youtube links for the album and anyone whos heard me listening to this album always turns there head like "what is that"!! I just dont understand how this album hsdnt played WAAAAYYYYY more of an influential role in metals evolution!! It was ahead of all the other bands and there albums that are responsible for the modern metal sound you hear in metal today! Now im not saying the band has been round longer then all the other bands, so please dont confuse what my point is cause it was the albums those bands released between 2001 and 2006-7 that HEAVILY influenced the metal we hesr today!! For anyone who is a true metal head, I HIGHLY recommend this album to add to your playlists! Now yes, they are technically a christian metal band which may have been what affected there ability to reach out, like Zao another great(unappreciated) band with some killer metal albums. Dont be an idiot and judt becsuse theres people who think christian music is corny, miss out GENIUS instrumental creativity!! DO NOT LET THIS ALBUM FADE AWAY please people, share the s%!@t outta this album cause the more people who know about it, then greater the chance it will be easier to find around. Seriously, when this CD was stolen from me, i had owned it already for bout 5 years and i couldnt find another copy anywere online n youtube wasnt rnd for another year n still youtube had nothing on this album till 2011 r 12 i think it was, mayby even 2013!! There was a good chunk a time i thought this album was lost in history n was just forgotten completely!! Help keep music this creative alive for future generations !!

@fooser77To say these guys are criminally underrated? Is probably the mother-of-ALL criminal understatements of human history!

@joshthurston5403Aside from obvious overall good tones. I think the bass guitar tone really made that distinct heavy sound of the undeceived album. I wonder what rig and bass guitar was used.
